Bertha Cyndy Panjaitan is a founding partner of B.C. Panjaitan Law Firm. Prior to opening the firm on July 2012, Cyndy practiced at Lubis, Santosa & Maulana Law Offices, one of leading law firms in Indonesia, for nine years (2003-2012). Cyndy was graduated from Faculty of Law University of Indonesia (Sarjana Hukum) in 2003, majoring in International Law.

Cyndy has been involved in various types of litigations forclients from different industries, including civil and commercial, arbitration, criminal and industrial disputes litigations. Cyndy has experience in assisting clients from oil and gas, as well as from mining sectors, such as ConocoPhillips, Rio Tinto and Total E&P Indonesia; media industries in their disputes regarding defamation, which include clients Asian Wall Street Journal, Time Inc, The Washington Post, Matra Magazine, Tempo Magazine, and Global TV. She has also been assisted Citibank, N.A, Diebold Inc, PT Diebold Indonesia, PT Asuransi Hanjin Korindo, PT Asuransi Samsung Tugu, PT Staco Graha, PT Semen Gresik Tbk, PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk, PT Kilap Propertindo, PT IAQ Engineering Indonesia in their disputes relating to their business operations in Indonesia.

Cyndy was also engaged in several cases at the Constitutional Court, representing Dewan Perwakilan Daerah (DPD) and recently part of the legal team who represent Mr Joko Widodo and Mr H. Jusuf Kalla in the presidential election dispute; Industrial disputes litigations for employment matters, and Commercial Court for bankruptcy case, BANI (Indonesian National Board of Arbitration) for arbitration cases.

Cyndy has experience drafting agreements and court documents, as well as attending court on all matters related to divorce, including property division, custody, and marital assets seizure. She has engaged in the high profile divorce case in Indonesia related with the royal family and celebrities. Bertha Cyndy Panjaitan is a member of Indonesian Bar Association (PERADI). She speaks Bahasa Indonesia and English.
